Project description:  

Located 110 km away from the capital, Pitesti is mainly transited by traffic on the directions towards Oltenia and Banat via Slatina, Craiova and towards Ardeal via Râmnicu Vâlcea on the Olt Valley or via Brașov. Construction of a bypass of the Pitesti municipality led to the improvement of the environmental and traffic conditions. The bypass is located in the continuation of the existing Bucharest – Pitesti Motorway and is part of priority project 7 of the TEN-T network.
